“Designer Genes.” Rhode Island Monthly, October 2008. A look at the decorating styles of mother/daughter designers.

“Entry on the Half Shell.” Fine Homebuilding, July 2007. A giant clamshell – carved and detailed out of 2 ¼” thick mahogany – offers an incredible welcome to visitors at a beachhouse in Rhode Island.

“Modern-Gothic Romance.“ Design New England, May-June 2007. The woodwork in this contemporary home was designed to portray a smooth feel by combining clean lines and a rich color palette, while also using some of the finer species of woods.

“Leaning Green.” Rhode Island Monthly, April 2007. An 1865 farmhouse is nudged into the present century with some planet-friendly choices, including MDF (recycled wood pulp) kitchen cabinets custom-made by New England Woodworking.
